Hi, I’m Steph, and I just love dogs. All dogs.
Somebody once said that there is no such thing as bad chocolate
(I agree!), but as far as I’m concerned, that applies to dogs too.
When I was growing up, I had all sorts of pets – fish, hamsters, cats, dogs, and horses, but above all, I love dogs and horses.
Presently, I have a small Lhasa Apso called Poppy, who is just a year old. She’s only a little dog, but has the heart of a lioness and absolutely no fear of strangers. On the contrary, she loves meeting them, especially children. Poppy and my daughter spend hours chasing around the house, my daughter in fits of giggles.
When we go for walks out in the fields, Poppy has two main objectives: she wants to investigate anything and everything, and she wants to get as dirty as possible. Because she’s so small she looks like a rabbit running in the fields, but she is pretty quick, and tries to out-run much larger dogs.
Poppy Loves To Meet My Customers Dogs
When my customers bring their dogs to be groomed, Poppy likes to greet them, and then sits under the grooming table while I work, knowing that she has a playmate for a while when I’ve finished, and before their owners come to collect them.
In addition to Poppy, I also have a horse called Gemini who has been with me since she was 18 months old. She’s now 14, and loves to sit out in the field sunbathing when the weather is fine. Gemini also loves to jump, but now I have my daughter we stick mostly to dressage, and hacks through the country lanes. Gemini shares a field with my mother’s two horses, Chester and Millie.
Our Objectives At Canine Couture
At Canine Couture, my objective is to offer a professional grooming service that caters to the differing needs of every individual dog. This will include consideration of your dog’s skin type, coat type, and also the specific trimming requirements that you want to achieve.
I always work on the basis that I have two customers to please: both you and your dog. In order to ensure a totally stress-free experience for your beloved friend. I am a loving and caring individual, and my outlook on life is always to strive for happiness for my customers, their dogs, and my family and friends.
As a dog owner and animal lover all my life, I understand completely that our dogs are our cherished treasures, and my aim is to use my years of training and expert experience, not just in grooming, but in dog health and well-being, to ensure that your pet has the best possible experience, and that you, the owner, enjoy total satisfaction.
